The Office of Institutional Advancement is a comprehensive, full-service
operation supporting the University of Dallas in fund raising, development, public
relations, alumni relations, and advancement services. The
office is an integrated unit, which is designed to meet the needs of all constituents of
the University: alumni, parents, friends, corporations, foundations, religious
organizations, and others.
The department is led by Ilene Stern, M.

aforementioned areas.
The Office of Institutional Advancement
provides a range of programs and services, comprehensive in nature which enables the
University to raise funds, provide a presence and image locally, regionally and
nationally, respond to alumni needs via programs and services for the entire life cycle of
our alumni, provide donor stewardship and gift tracking, and provide events and services
which increase the presence and visibility of UD.
VICTORY- Belong Believe Become Phase I
On September 15, 2000 the Art History Building in the Haggerty
Arts Village on the campus of the University of Dallas was dedicated. Capital
Campaign Chair Ray Wooldridge announced that the University had reached its $25,000,000
Phase I Capital Campaign pledge goal with the receipt of an anonymous gift from an alumni
couple, the largest alumni gift ever received by the University. The Campaign goals
included the renovation of all dormitories, the building of the University Center, three
years of Annual Fund, and the renovation and building of the Haggerty Arts Village.
