School Board Election
Carroll ISD was in a unique situation. The district began searching for a new
superintendent during a time when a majority of the School Board seats
were
up for election May 4th. Trustees, as well as representatives from
the search firm, agreed that major decisions about the candidate profile,
interviews and finalists would be made by the new Board. The contract agreement with HYA allowed for the newly elected Board
members to be a part of the profile process, as well as the ability to
decide whether or not to continue using the services of HYA after the
profiling portion of the search process was completed. The new Board voted
to renew.
