Carson Daly to Stay Up 'Later' - Aug 15, 2001 04:03 PM
NEW YORK: M-TV personality Carson Daly will be trying to wake up the late night audience -- and wake up a hibernating program, too -- by signing on with NBC to host the talk show
"Later."
Daly will continue to host "Total Request Live" on M-TV for at least another year.
Since Bob Costas and Greg Kinnear were at the helm of "Later," the show, which airs at 1:35 a.m. Eastern, has essentially been dormant for the past year.
