Welcome Since 1967, the North Central Texas Council of Governments has actively promoted the standardization of model construction codes in an effort to simplify the construction process, advance the safety of building systems, promote common code interpretation, facilitate the mobility of contractors, and reduce training and construction costs.
2003 International Code Amendment Update
The Regional Codes Coordinating Committee (RCCC) and its Advisory Boards are currently recommending the adoption of the 2003 International Codes Regional Amendments as well as the 2005 National Electrical Codes Regional Amendments.. The RCCC now recommends that all municipalities and jurisdictions in North Central Texas adopt the 2003 International Codes and the 2005 National Electrical Code with the Recommended Regional Amendments.
