What's new or next?: City recently received a grant that will be used to launch a paint-recycling program. Old paints will be mixed and redistributed as Conservation Colors. Residents can now purchase prepackaged bags of compost - called Plano Pure - from the city's warehouse, 4100 W. Plano Parkway. The 40-pound bags are $3.
