Congratulations
to the cast of the
Carroll High School One Act Play for winning 4A UIL State Runner-up!
Starting with an
elementary school-level music and art program, the district offers a
wide selection of classes for appreciation of the fine arts.
At fifth grade, basic
art classes help the student
realize his or her creative skills.
Beginning in the sixth grade, band instruction is introduced, with
marching band offered by the ninth grade. Grades five and up may choose
choir as an elective.
Beginning in seventh
grade, students may be involved in speech, drama, debate and theater
arts. Along this line are advanced high school courses such as theater
production, public speaking and competition-level speech and debate-with
opportunities for district and state recognition.
