Continuing the story
WFAA-TV covered Kennedy's visit to Texas and assassination extensively. WFAA's Jay Watson breathlessly broke into regularly scheduled programming to announce Kennedy had been shot and later that afternoon interviewed key witnesses Bill and Gayle Newman and a soon-to-be-famous Dallas dress manufacturer named Abraham Zapruder. WFAA radio, which no longer exists, also provided extensive coverage.   (Requires free RealPlayer)
