March will be Celebrate Wylie Arts Month at the Smith Public Library.  The Library  will host programs on March 6, March 19, and March 27 that will feature a local writer, a musician, and  an artist.  The March 6 program will feature Judy Truesdale Mecca.  She writes children’s plays and performs comedy.  Judy has three Children’s play books published by Incentive Publications, and she has another book that will be released this spring.  In addition, she has published two books that are part of the American Girl seriesLynne Thornton, local musician and teacher at Plano ISD, will present a program entitled “The Sound of Strings” on March 19.  On March 27, the Library’s program will feature David Eden, Local Artist and Pastor at a local church.  His program will be on cartooning.  All programs will be from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Winter Reading Club 

will end on February 27 with a program by 

Mike Cruiciger

 

An award-winning banjo and guitar player, Cruciger entertains with an extensive repertoire of silly, serious, traditional andoriginal songs. Besides providing guitar accompaniment and lyrics for sing-along songs requested by audience members, Cruciger personalizes his programs with humorous and thought-provoking commentary on social values, changing times and sharing the world. The addition of a few unusual banjo tunes to spice up the program always results in a unique program with that special Mike Cruciger touch.

A number of snack vending machines are electrically operated. There are snack vending machines that are see-through or have fronts which are glass-made. Various snack vending machines can only dispense as little as six or ten types of snacks or it can sell a wide range of snack and beverage choices.
