Status of Schools Damaged by Allison - Aug 01, 10:07 AM
HOUSTON: With all the damage left behind by Tropical Storm Allison, just one school in the Houston Independent School District will have to delay opening for the 2001-2002 school year.

Concord Elementary School in northeast Houston won't be ready for the first day of classes on Aug. 20 because of flood repairs and long-planned renovations under the district's $678 million bond issue.
