Good Friday schedules, closings

04/13/2001

Following are government and business schedules for Good Friday:

Government

Federal offices and post offices will be open.

State offices will be open.

Dallas County offices will be open. Denton, Ellis, Rockwall, Collin, Tarrant and Kaufman County offices will be closed.

Dallas and Fort Worth city offices will be open.

Arlington, Bedford, Kaufman, Euless, Cedar Hill, Irving, Farmers Branch and Terrell city offices will be closed. Most other suburban city offices will remain open.

Schools

Most schools are closed.

Businesses

Banks will be open.

Most businesses and department and retail stores will be open.

Transportation

Dallas Area Rapid Transit and the T buses of the Fort Worth Transportation Authority will run on a regular weekday schedule.

Garbage

Most pickup will remain on a regular schedule.
