Krause’s is nearing launch of a series of Web applications, beginning in early February that will leverage the
Company’s technology platform for its institutional, in-store and consumer business segments.
The tools will be available in its retail locations and on the Internet, to create a seamless click-and-mortar
environment, allowing customers to shop where, when and how they want.
The portfolio of tools are showcased below.
The Custom Upholstery visualization tool allows the
customer or designer to see unlimited combinations of fabrics and options on
Krause’s furniture styles. In our retail showrooms this currently can only be
achieved by draping large fabric swatches on a furniture piece. The new
computer-generated rendering will greatly improve the customer’s ability to
visualize their custom-made furniture before it is manufactured. This
technology supports the custom design process that has not been possible with
typical electronic catalogue applications. The electronic feedback from these
tools will help our Designers quickly identify new trends and customer
interests, and even allow virtual designs to gauge interest in new design
concepts.

iDecorate™ allows our Designers to feature fabric
combinations that convey a variety of lifestyles and current decorating trends.
The tool lets customers manipulate fabrics in an entire room setting, further
allowing visualization of a complete environment of Krause’s furniture and

Viewing lets the customer display furniture from all angles to see design
characteristics of our different furniture styles. This technology provides
much more information to the customer than static photographs, by delivering
the feeling of depth and dimension, and letting the customer focus on areas
that are important to them for their design solution.

Room Planner allows our sales associates and our
customers to layout their own two-dimensional rooms with new and existing
furniture pieces to complete the planning for their interior designs.
