Recent Highland Park graduate Rick Fairchild signed a letter of intent Tuesday to play baseball at Tulane this fall.

Highland Park's girls cross country team saw its three-year streak of Class 4A championships end last season, but coach Jerry Sutterfield isn't kicking off the new year by urging his team to start another streak.

Scots' runners separate from pack
