Gustafson appeal rejected

04/13/2001

From staff and wire reports

The 3rd Court of Appeals in Austin on Thursday rejected an appeal by former Texas baseball coach Cliff Gustafson in a lawsuit against UT athletic director DeLoss Dodds. Gustafson's attorney, Broadus Spivey, said he would file an appeal with the Texas Supreme Court. Gustafson's lawsuit, which claimed that Dodds used a falsified document to force Gustafson to resign as baseball coach in 1996, was previously dismissed by District Court Judge F. Scott McCown.
