Brothers Doug Scott and Steve Scott, longtime boys basketball coaches in the Dallas Independent School District, have been dismissed from their coaching jobs. Doug Scott, who said he coached at Samuell for 34 years and won more than 500 games. Steve Scott coached at Hillcrest for 18 years and won a Class 4A state championship in 1987.
