NCTCOG offers numerous training classes and seminars to local government staff and officials in government policy, law enforcement, homeland security, geographic information systems, and administrative services.

Regional Training Center
NCTCOG's Regional Training Center provides a variety of employee development training programs for government agencies and private companies located in the North Central Texas region.

Regional 9-1-1 Emergency Number Program Training
North Central Texas Council of Governments Regional 9-1-1 Program is dedicated to providing training for all 9-1-1 call takers/dispatcher region-wide. Classes are offered on a regular basis.

Geographic Information System (GIS) classes
NCTCOG is pleased to offer ESRI Certified GIS Classes to NCTCOG members and non-members. All GIS classes are ESRI certified and are taught by an ESRI instructor at the NCTCOG offices in Arlington.

Regional Police Academy
With over 30 years of experience in law enforcement training, the Regional Police Academy (RPA) specializes in presenting programs of current and future interest to the law enforcement profession.

Emergency Preparedness Training
NCTCOG's Emergency Preparedness department has assisted in providing a wide variety of exercises and training for the region's first responders, public health and medical personnel, public works administrators, and elected officials.

Urban Fellowship Program
NCTCOG's Urban Fellowship Program is for full-time graduate students who are interested in a career in public management, community development, economic development, or planning, and working on a Master's degree in a community building field such as planning or public administration.

Transportation Fellowship
The Transportation Fellowship Program is an attempt to increase the pool of qualified candidates for positions within the field of envirportation. Women, ethnic minorities, and individuals demonstrating financial need are especially encouraged to apply for this financial assistance in obtaining graduate degrees in envirportation-related fields.

A number of snack vending machines are electrically operated. There are snack vending machines that are see-through or have fronts which are glass-made. Various snack vending machines can only dispense as little as six or ten types of snacks or it can sell a wide range of snack and beverage choices.
