Transportation Fellowship Program
The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) has created the Transportation Fellowship Program to provide scholarships and field experience to persons traditionally underrepresented in the field of transportation (economically disadvantaged persons, women, and ethnic minorities).  The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Federal Transit Administration (FTA), and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) fund the Program, in conjunction with local governments in North Central Texas.  Available to undergraduate and graduate students in a number of majors, the Program provides tuition (at Texas resident rates), paid internship placements, and funding for books, conferences, and memberships in professional organizations.  This year's deadline is May 18, 2001.
